This policy explains what information Black Rock Remodeling LLC ("Black Rock," "we," "us") collects when you visit our website, fill out a form, book a walkthrough, call us, or text with us, and how we use it. If you have a question about anything here, contact us using the details at the end of this page.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, phone number and email address when you fill out a form or book a walkthrough on our scheduling page.
- The type of project you are interested in, such as a kitchen or bathroom remodel.
- Details you share when we talk with you, such as your town, your timeline, whether you own the home, and what you want done.
- Messages you send us by text or email.
Information from calls
When you call us, we receive your phone number and the time and length of the call. Calls may be recorded so we can keep accurate notes about your project and improve our service.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we and our advertising partners, including Google, may use cookies and similar technology to collect information such as your browser type, the pages you visit, and how you arrived at our site, including whether you clicked on one of our ads. This helps us understand which ads bring us customers.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request and call you back.
- To schedule your walkthrough and send you confirmations and reminders.
- To prepare and follow up on your written price.
- To send you updates about your project.
- To send you occasional offers by email, if you gave us your email address.
- To measure how well our advertising works and to show our ads to people who have visited our website.
- To keep records we are required to keep by law.
Text messages
If you check the box agreeing to receive text messages on one of our forms, we will text you about your project, including scheduling, appointment reminders, and follow-up on your request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
Outside of business hours, an automated assistant may reply to your texts or calls on our behalf. A member of our team follows up during business hours.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. The sharing described in the next section never includes your text messaging opt-in or consent.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers that work on our behalf, such as the companies that provide our customer management and messaging software, phone service, email, website hosting, scheduling, and advertising measurement. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- The team that answers our phones and follows up on requests, so they can respond to you and book your walkthrough.
- When required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
- If our business is sold or reorganized, as part of that transaction.
Advertising and cookies
We advertise on Google. Google may use cookies to show you our ads based on your visits to our website. You can control personalized ads from Google in your Google account's ad settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of our website may not work as intended if cookies are blocked.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as we need it to respond to you, complete your project, and keep the business records we are required to keep. After that, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP to any text from us.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
- Calls: ask us not to call you again and we will note it on your record.
- Your information: email us to ask what information we have about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to records we are required to keep.
Children
Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
